Born in New Orleans on October 10th 1948. He performed in gospel choirs from the age of eight but did not record until the late 60's when he made on record for the ABS Label.During 1970 Charles befriended local entrepreneur Senator Jones who beame his manager and buisness partner. In that same year Jones launched He'p Me Records and Charles became the first signing. In 1975 Charles scored his first national mini-hit with a cover of Al Green's 'God Bless Our Love' which was picked up for distribution by the Chelsea Label after reaching the top spot in New Orleans.Two albums followed and 'God Bles Our Love' hit again in 1977. Little has been heard of Charles since the early 80's.
